NEW YORK, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- SPIN today announced the headliners for its SPIN25 concert series, to be held from July 26 - 30. The Smashing Pumpkins, The Flaming Lips, The Black Keys, The National, and Spiritualized will headline each night, all of which will combine for a total of 25 hours of amazing live music over the five nights. Shows from July 26 through July 29 will be at the Bowery Presents venue Terminal 5, while Spiritualized will perform at Radio City Music Hall on the 30th. ZYNC(SM) from American Express is the Presenting Sponsor of the SPIN25 concert series and will provide live streaming of the entire event. For their set, Spiritualized will be staging a single performance of the seminal 1997 album Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space. The performance will feature the Spiritualized live band plus a choir, 8 piece string section and horns. This will be the only North American show and the last performance of its kind.
ZYNC from American Express also will be holding a unique contest where fans can go to www.facebook.com/zync to enter to win a trip to New York City and document the entire concert series. The winner and a guest will be given exclusive access to all the shows, including back stage passes, VIP seating and opportunities to interview the bands, which they will capture with their new Flip(TM) camera. SPIN and American Express fans who cannot attend the shows will have the opportunity to see these exciting performances streamed live on the ZYNC Facebook page, as well as on SPIN.com and through select sites within the SPIN Network. The feed, provided by Livestream.com, will only be made available to fans who have "liked" the ZYNC Card on Facebook. Fans will be able to interact during the live stream through Facebook and Twitter.
