Contract with WFAA Marks Dallas-Fort Worth as First Top Ten TV Market Customer for StationView Essentials

PORTLAND, Ore., June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ:RENT), a leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the entertainment and advertising industries, today announced it has signed a contract with Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate WFAA. The Belo Corp. television station selected Rentrak's StationView Essentials(TM) service to provide additional measurement and metrics for clients.

This agreement marks the first adoption of StationView Essentials service in a top ten-television market, indicating that in the six months period since Rentrak began offering the service, the company's local station service is gaining ground among Set-Top-Device measurement systems.
