Phoenix Technology, Dejavoo Systems, ExaDigm, MYnizaga Consulting, and Smart Chip Technologies (Pink Sheets: SCTN) are collaborating with project manager and operator, Total Venue Control (TVC), to deploy the turnkey event management solution at this festival and other stadiums. TVC projects as much as $1 million in daily festival concession sales.

"Venues get free program setup and fees are derived from increased revenues," explained MYnizaga Managing Partner Robert Buchan. "It's the ideal, high value, low cost upgrade for concerts, festivals, events, and sports venues."

TVC currently operates the first cashless U.S. professional sports stadium for the Wichita Wingnuts, an independent professional baseball team in Wichita, KS. [Click here to watch an interview with the Witchita Wingnuts General Manager discussing the benefits of cashless concessions.]

"Faster, wireless, cashless transactions mean quicker lines for hungry fans, who have increased their per capita concession purchases by 30%," according to TVC CEO Cameron Wall. "Additionally, the cashless stadium program has significantly reduced labor and cash handling costs, and has effectively eliminated employee theft."

Smart Chip Technologies is providing event management software. Its award winning, patent protected, end-to-end loyalty and payment software solution allows stadium managers to continue adding card functionality to benefit ticketholders.

"The dynamic software enables personalized, relevant rewards or discounts to optimize the customer experience," stated Bernard McHale, CEO of Phoenix Technology and Smart Chip Technologies. "This flexible solution can be integrated with ticketing, parking, or access control applications to further reduce operational expenses."

The Great American Food & Music Fest features food, fun, and live music by acts such as Buckwheat Zydeco, Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Texas singer/songwriter Bob Schneider and Season 6 American Idol Finalist Melinda Doolittle. Some of the highest rated U.S. wineries, beer producers, and restaurants will be on hand to serve their specialties. The Food Network's Paula Deen, The Neelys, Top Chef's Tom Colicchio, and Ace of Cakes' Duff Goldman headline this year's festivals.
