Dianne Earley Named Vice President of Cox Media Virginia

CHESAPEAKE, Va., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Dianne Earley has been appointed as the Vice President of Cox Media Virginia, Cox's full-service advertising division. She reports from the company's Northern Virginia offices in Herndon.

Earley has more than twenty five years of media sales and sales management experience in radio, broadcast and cable television. She joined Cox Media in 2004 as Corporate Vice President of National Sales in Atlanta. In 2006, she was selected to lead Cox Media operations in Northern Virginia (Fairfax and Fredericksburg). Earley previously held positions with ABC Radio, Jefferson-Pilot Broadcasting, Gannett Broadcasting, and Comcast Cable.

The Cox Media services Earley will leverage to meet customer needs include:

-- Television, Online, Mobile and Interactive Advertising
-- Services such as Political Advertising, Marketing, Production, and
Sports Services
-- OnDemand Video/movie services (such as streaming Internet or
pay-per-view television offerings)

Earley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film from the Northwestern University School of Communications. She is a 2007 graduate of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications Executive Leadership Development Program at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, and is a 2009 Betsy Magness Leadership Institute Class XIX fellow. She serves as President of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of NAMIC, is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications, and serves on the Board of Visitors of the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University.
