Big Star Media Group Announces Audio and Video Rights for Blues Festival

CLARKSDALE, Miss., June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Big Star Media Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BMGI) (the "Company") a diversified entertainment and information distribution company, today announced it has secured the exclusive audio and video rights for the 25th Anniversary of the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival, to be held in Helena Arkansas during October 7-9, 2010.

The Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival, formerly known as the King Biscuit Blues Festival, is one of the nation's foremost showcases of blues music. Held for three days annually in October, tens of thousands of blues enthusiasts converge on historic downtown Helena, AR to hear stirring and uplifting performances of an American art form on the banks of the Mississippi River.

With the film and video streaming rights to the event secured, Big Star Media Group intends to carry the event on its Big Star Live website, and is in the process of negotiating with various media outlets to maximize the content distribution in a variety of other formats. Additional clearance and acquisition rights may be required for certain participants in the festival.
