EAST MEADOW, N.Y., June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- WHAT: Tonight, Monday, June 14th, a pep rally will be held for volunteers interested in being part of Long Island's June makeover, for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition at Suffolk County Sports Park, Central Islip NY.

WHO: Sal Ferro, President & CEO of Alure Home Improvements, selected partners for the week-long extreme build, all interested volunteers, and appearances by Milan Vasic, Senior Producer of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well as other representatives from the show.

Special Performances by John Hampson of Nine Days, Something Fresh, Lyrical Dancers and more.

WHEN: Monday, June 14th, 2010, 6:30pm - 8:30pm - Admission is FREE.

WHERE: Suffolk County Sports Park, home of the Long Island Ducks (formerly Citibank Park)

WHY: The event will rally Long Island Volunteers and inspire the community to make a difference. Learn what Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is all about and how they bring communities together while changing lives. The rally will also provide those interested in volunteering or being a part of the project an opportunity to learn how they can help and get a jump start on signing up to volunteer. The week-long build schedule will also be released at the pep rally.
