John Lewis Sells the First 3D TV

- Always first with the latest technology, department store John Lewis sold the first 3D TV in the UK

LONDON, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The first happy customer was 28-year-old Matt Rajah, a business consultant from Bethnal Green, who was waiting outside the doors of John Lewis' flagship store on Oxford Street, "I have been waiting for this for a long time, there's lots of exciting 3D content on the way, and it's set to be the TV of the future. John Lewis was first to market with this much-anticipated 3D television revolution. The new Samsung UE40C7000 3D TV, GBP1,799 will allow customers to experience 3D TV from the comfort of their own homes.

The first 40-inch TV is available from John Lewis' flagship store on Oxford Street, the largest electrical department in Europe, as well as Peter Jones and online - http://www.johnlewis.com/. The John Lewis Brent Cross, Bluewater, Kingston and Cribbs Causeway stores will also have the 3D TVs on display.
