Cunard to Welcome 2009 Tribeca Film Festival 'Best Documentary' Winner Marshall Curry on 8 August Queen Mary 2 Transatlantic Crossing

Academy Award®-nominated director to be a featured Cunard Insights speaker

SOUTHAMPTON, England, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Cunard, operator of The Most Famous Ocean Liners in the World, will welcome Tribeca Film Festival award-winning documentary filmmaker Marshall Curry aboard Queen Mary 2 on the 8 August Transatlantic Crossing from New York to Southampton. During the Crossing, Curry will participate in Cunard Insights, the Line's award-winning onboard enrichment programme, and will screen his acclaimed 2009 film, "Racing Dreams." The film won Best Documentary in the 2009 World Documentary Feature competition at the Festival, a category which was sponsored by Cunard. In addition to this accolade, Curry also received Academy Award® and Emmy® nominations for his 2005 film, "Street Fight."
