DABO's Sheffield to Hold Press Conference Tuesday Morning to Discuss Results of New York Meeting With Dateline's Chris Hansen & NBC Execs

NEW YORK, April 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Reverend Horace Sheffield III of the Detroit Association of Black Organizations (DABO) will hold a 9:30 AM press conference tomorrow (Tuesday April 27) at the Sheffield Center, 12048 Grand River at Wyoming. Sheffield will discuss the results of his meeting in New York City today with NBC executives and Dateline correspondent Chris Hansen. Sheffield's New York meeting focuses on the NBC Dateline production, "America Now: City of Heartbreak and Hope," a feature about Detroit.

"I believe that NBC is coming to grips with the reality that NBC's airing of "City of Heartbreak and Hope" has severely disappointed mainstream Detroit. NBC is moving in the right direction by adding additional footage of its interview with Luther Keith. Mr. Keith highlighted positive steps taken by Detroiters to improve our city.
