Pop Sensation Justin Bieber Opens Up 'His World' To QVC

The Platinum-Selling Artist is Scheduled to Unveil His New Album with a Live Performance

WEST CHESTER, Pa., March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- For singing sensation Justin Bieber, conquering the world is just the beginning. Recently appearing at the Grammy® Awards, the Super Bowl and even the White House, the 16 year-old superstar is about to take his career even further when he makes his QVC debut to unveil his new album My World 2.0.

The platinum-selling Island Records artist is scheduled to appear Tuesday, March 9 at 6:30 PM (ET) and 9:30 PM (ET) and Friday, March 12 at 10 PM (ET) for special live performances that will include songs from his much-anticipated new CD. During these QVC Presents QSessions Live broadcasts, Bieber will also offer viewers the opportunity to purchase My World 2.0, which has been specially packaged for QVC with an exclusive bonus DVD two weeks before street date.

"This may be one of our most exciting QSessions Live broadcasts yet," said Rich Yoegel, director of merchandising for QVC. "Not only is Justin making headlines with his high-profile appearances and ever-growing fan base but his record-breaking sales figures have made him one of the most successful artists in the business today."

Bieber, who was signed to the Island Def Jam Music Group at the age of 14, is one of the industry's fastest (and youngest) rising stars. He is currently the only solo artist in history to send four consecutive songs to the Billboard Top 40 and his latest single "Baby" (featuring Ludacris) recently debuted at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its first week of release.

The chart-topping artist recently cemented his place among music's elite when he was asked to sing Lionel Richie's original opening line to "We Are The World" for the famous remake featuring such A-list performers as Pink, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and many more.

"It's cool to be launching my new album on QVC," said Bieber. "Where else can I perform live and reach more than 98 million homes with my music? It's just an incredible opportunity for me."

My World 2.0 will be available through QVC starting March 9 at QVC.com or 800.345.1515, while supplies last.
