ATA Chief Economist Talks Trucking on CNBC's 'Street Signs'

ARLINGTON, Va., March 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- American Trucking Associations (ATA) Chief Economist Bob Costello appeared today on CNBC's "Street Signs" program with Erin Burnett to discuss the economic outlook of the trucking industry.

"This industry got pummeled during the recession," Costello said, with "freight volumes falling a total of 25 percent. The good news is though [freight volumes] are starting to pick a little bit [and ATA] is cautiously optimistic about the economy."
