Jostens Presents ESPN's Mike & Mike 10th Anniversary Rings

Jostens Presents ESPN's Mike & Mike 10th Anniversary Rings

Extends championship ring tradition to celebrate show's milestone

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- One-of-a-kind designed rings created by Jostens were presented to Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic of ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike in the Morning during today's airing to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their show, which was broadcast from The Jostens Center at the soon-to-be-renamed ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort®. Jostens has a long tradition of helping athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional level celebrate achievements and tell their stories with championship rings and believes that Mike and Mike's achievement exemplifies the dedication and hard work needed to succeed in sport and life.

"Mike & Mike is a radio and sports institution and the two Mikes are a great example of how hard work allows you to succeed both on and off the athletic field," said Kim Noonan, vice president of Marketing, Jostens. "Jostens believes strongly in celebrating accomplishments at all levels, particularly helping youth recognize important athletic and scholastic achievements, and we are honored to design and present Mike and Mike championship-style rings that celebrate their 10th anniversary and their unique journeys to this important milestone."

With both Mikes taking different routes to co-hosting Mike & Mike in the Morning, Jostens created rings that reflect the show's success as well as their individual paths to ESPN Radio. Both rings have the Mike & Mike and ESPN radio logos and the official red, white and black ESPN colors. The top of each ring has an "X" depicting the 10th anniversary and both rings include the show's motto "What makes them different makes them great" inscribed inside the band.

Jostens captured each man's individual journey to ESPN by dedicating one side of each ring to illustrate the unique story of each Mike. Mike Greenberg's ring includes symbols that track his life from New York to his college years to Mike & Mike as well as his dream to be commissioner of Major League Baseball. Mike Golic's ring includes callouts to his home state of Ohio, his football years, Mike & Mike and a donut in honor of his famous donut segment.

During ESPN the Weekend events, presented by Dick's Sporting Goods, it is fitting that Jostens presented Mike and Mike with their 10th Anniversary rings as Jostens is an Official Sponsor of events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, the nation's leading multi-sports venue which is being relaunched February 25 with the signature elements of ESPN. In conjunction with the sponsorship, Jostens creates the awards and offers personalized memory books to teams and athletes participating at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to help recognize achievements and preserve memories. Jostens is also the official provider of Disney PhotoBooks at the Walt Disney World Resort®, making Jostens an integral part of producing the photo books that are a part of Disney's Photo Pass service to theme park guests.
