NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Bringing together their affinity for a great popular song with their outstanding live performances, acclaimed vocal quintet Celtic Thunder pay homage to cherished musical entertainers of past and present on their most ambitious project to date, IT'S ENTERTAINMENT. An impressive new CD and DVD, the spectacular musical review was filmed in front of a live audience in Toronto and spans six decades of musical styles with a set list to satisfy fans of all ages. The collection of infectious interpretations includes diverse covers such as "Standing on the Corner" alongside pop numbers such as U2's "Still Haven't Found (What I'm Looking For)," The Proclaimers' "My Life Without You" and Leonard Cohen's timeless gem "Hallelujah." IT'S ENTERTAINMENT - the new concert special - will premiere on Public Television beginning February 27th, with airings to follow all through the month of March (check local listings). Their previous releases, Celtic Thunder: The Show and Act Two, are still fixtures on Billboard's Top World Albums Chart after debuting at #1. IT'S ENTERTAINMENT highlights Celtic Thunder's vocal prowess and undeniable charisma, with Irishmen Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Paul Byrom, Ryan Kelly, and Scotsman George Donaldson shining on two numbers a piece. The 60-minute DVD, shot in high-definition, will feature more than half an hour of additional bonus material including behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. The CD will also feature new tracks not in the DVD concert special.
