Verizon to Hold News Conference on Nov. 23 to Announce Launch Plans for FiOS TV in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- With the approval earlier this year of a cable TV franchise for Verizon by the Philadelphia City Council and the mayor's office, Verizon is poised to launch its award-winning FiOS TV service in Philadelphia. Verizon will hold a news conference on Monday (Nov. 23) to announce its FiOS TV rollout plans across the city and what this cable competition and choice will mean for the city's residents and businesses. Company officials also will demonstrate FiOS TV's many popular features.
