ALVISO, Calif. and DALLAS, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Starting today, broadband connected TiVo® DVR subscribers can access popular new release movies such as "Away We Go," "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past," and "Observe and Report," as well as classic titles from the comfort of their living room. (NASDAQ:TIVO) , the creator of and a leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVRs), have launched the BLOCKBUSTER On Demand® digital movie rental service on TiVo Series2(TM), TiVo Series3(TM), TiVo HD, and TiVo HD XL DVRs, bringing premium digital movie titles directly to TiVo subscribers' television sets.

With the BLOCKBUSTER On Demand service, TiVo subscribers can now rent hot new release movies including the latest new comedies, box office hits, and indie favorites from Blockbuster. Most rentals will range from $2.99 for classic hits to $3.99 for new releases. Over the coming weeks, Blockbuster will expand its available catalog, adding to TiVo subscribers' growing choice of premium digital entertainment, including select HD titles. In addition, TiVo DVRs will be sold at thousands of participating BLOCKBUSTER stores nationwide, making it even easier for consumers to transform the way they experience entertainment.
