TheBizmo Gives Artists Worldwide Distribution and Seven Times the Average Major Label Royalty
Unique music distribution deal offering by European market leader theBizmo
LONDON, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- As perhaps the only company in the digital music space that sports an actual 360 degree e-commerce service, theBizmo now also offers artists a short cut to global digital distribution.
Giving artists even more reasons to abandon the old label-model, theBizmo now provides their users with access to the biggest distributors of digital music, like iTunes, Amazon, Yahoo, Rhapsody and much hyped Spotify.
"TheBizmo is now offering a complete service for artists," says CEO David Gjester. "If the artist can write, play and perform, theBizmo will take care of the rest. We now not only offer a much larger and wider distribution than our competitors, but we also do it for a fraction of the price they are charging. We want to give our clients the best possible deal, because we're in it for the long haul. We believe in long term relationships and those are best stimulated by fair, straight and mutually beneficial business deals."
Less than $20 a year to distribute an unlimited numbers of albums and singles through more than 150 stores is what it comes down to. UPC and ISRC codes, necessary to register chart sales, come free with the service, as do daily sales reports. The playing field is truly leveling out with the introduction of this service.
"I wonder what the signed artists will think about this," smiles Gjester. "They're used to getting 12% royalty. If they went with us, they would get 85%. That's seven times as much. That's what I call a major difference."
