Eric Welch Nominated for CMA Video of the Year
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Filmmaker Eric Welch has been nominated for a 2009 Country Music Award for directing Randy Houser's "Boots On" video. The video has been a fan favorite thanks to Welch's ability to craft a humorous idea into a standout concept for Randy's hit song.
Even Keith Urban recently labeled "Boots On" as his favorite video, saying, "It's simple, it's cute, it's funny. I love it."
Welch recently won a Dove Award for his direction on TobyMac's live concert DVD and has directed an array of talented performers ranging from artists such as Dolly Parton to Ben Folds and Colbie Caillat to actors like Desperate Housewives' James Denton. Currently, Welch is prepping for the upcoming CMT "Invitation Only" music special featuring Tim McGraw. Eric is the founder and owner of Broken Poet Productions.
