WHO: Munhall resident 13 year-old Amanda Barnett who suffered from hair loss and is featured in the film will attend as well as one of the filmmakers. WHEN: Tuesday, September 29, 2009 6:00 p.m. - Refreshments 7:00 p.m. - Screening 7:30 p.m. - Discussion with Amanda Barnett and one of the filmmakers 7:45 p.m. - Hairstylists will cut hair for those interested in donating their locks. WHERE: Children's Museum of Pittsburgh 10 Children's Way Pittsburgh, PA Details: Growing up is difficult enough without having to deal with losing your hair. The HBO Family Documentary LOCKS OF LOVE is the story of three young girls who lost their hair to illness, but found ways to regain their confidence through the love and support of their families - and through the generosity of people who have given up their locks so that the girls, and others like them, can feel more like their old selves.
