WHAT: Virgin America, the award-winning California-based airline and official carrier of the Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) for the second year in a row, has teamed up with Richard Branson's newest airline, V Australia to host the official party of the festival at the Andaz West during the festival weekend (Sept. 10 - 12).

Celebrating the vibrant musical legacy of the Sunset Strip, the second annual SSMF will showcase a number of the Strip's most legendary clubs as well as some eclectic, talented musical acts. It also marks the first time ever the Sunset Strip will be closed from Doheny to San Vicente Boulevards for a massive street fair on Saturday, September 12. Clubs participating in the festivities during the three-day festival running from September 10th through September 12th, include The Roxy Theater, House of Blues, The Cat Club, Whiskey A-Go-Go and The Viper Room. Party guests will be able to make a donation and enter to win roundtrip travel on V Australia (as well as a hotel stay down under) and roundtrip travel on Virgin America. All proceeds and a matching donation will be given to the Los Angeles Firemen's Relief Association's Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firemen's Fund.
