Action Star Celeste Thorson Heats Up Hollywood on Destination X TV

For the second season, Celeste Thorson leads a team of female adventurists through adrenaline pumping action in Destination X: California. Thorson gets more than she bargained for after taking 5Gs while flying a Russian fighter jet and dog fighting over the Pacific Ocean. After skydiving, swimming with sharks and rappelling off mountains in season one, she pushes the limits in season two when the team takes a fleet of Lotus Elises out to heat up the race track and become outlaws on the Bullrun.

Thorson stars in both seasons of "Destination X TV," an outdoor extreme sports show, airing in over 56 countries around the world including the U.S. When not in front of the camera she writes and produces for the teen television show "BinTune: The Industry," currently airing nationwide on NBC and CBS syndicated stations. She starred in "Room Nine" as a girl on the run who torches her truck and leaves only bodies behind, and has appeared in feature films like "Satin" alongside Melissa Joan Hart and Michael Cudlitz. Born July 23, 1984 in Orange County, California, Thorson began acting for the stage as a child, starring in community theater productions. Growing up, she frequently travelled between schools and her family's properties in the Southwest. After completing high school early she travelled to Mexico to attended Instituto Allende, a classical art school in San Miguel. At 17, she returned to the U.S. to work as an activist for non-profits like Save the Children, Sierra Club, and Calpirg. By 19 she had signed with Alex Fox at CESD Talent Agency and began appearing in commercials like Reebok, Lady Footlocker, Spring, and Samsung, among others.

When not filming, she likes to travel the world, discover new arts and cultures, and promote human, animal, and environmental rights. She enjoys sports like surfing, rock climbing, and dancing. A self-described artist, foodie and fashionista, she is always exploring her creative side.
