NEW YORK, August 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Based on popular online votes cast and scoring by a panel of JetBlue judges, JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU) and Superfly Marketing Group today announce the five winners of the national 'Live from T5' online music competition hosted by OurStage.com, including the following artists: Mieka Pauley; Bronze Radio Return; Ryan Shields; Amy Kuney and grand prize winner Jetty Rae. Each artist won the opportunity to play an acoustic gig at the airline's new state-of-the art Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).

Grand prize winner Jetty Rae (www.myspace.com/jettyraemusic), based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, also won the opportunity to perform as the opening act for a headlining artist at Bowery Presents' Terminal 5, the popular concert venue in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood, or another Bowery Presents show. Jetty Rae weaves soul, folk and a little bit of Jetty into a beautiful tapestry of notes. She is currently working on her next album, "Nobody," and will perform at JetBlue's Live from T5 on Friday, August 21.
Today, August 14, winners Mieka Pauley (www.mieka.com) and Ryan Shields (www.RyanShields.com) will perform at 'Live from T5' beginning at 5 p.m. ET. Pauley forms a kind of bluesy-folk rock and roll and Shields offers diverse musical influences including country, rock, folk and Americana.
Jetty Rae and Bronze Radio Return (www.myspace.com/bronzeradioreturn), who can please lovers of all kinds of rock and roll, will perform on Friday, August 21. Singer-songwriter Amy Kuney (www.myspace.com/amykuney) will be the last winning performer to take the stage at Live from T5 on September 25.
Live from T5 is a six-month, 12-date live music concert series featuring performances by hand-selected emerging artists from around the U.S. on select Fridays throughout the year. JetBlue's Live from T5 unofficially launched on Friday, May 22 with Austin's own Dan Dyer (www.myspace.com/dandyer) performing on the south grandstand in T5's marketplace.
Other performances have included Nicole Atkins, American Princes, Alberta Cross, Justin Townes Earle and Madi Diaz. Three additional performers selected by Superfly Marketing Group will perform later this summer to conclude the Live from T5 concert series.
