WHAT: Open dress rehearsals for accredited media of the 20th Annual PBS National Memorial Day Concert. Note: The concert will be broadcast live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol on Sunday, May 24, 2009 from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m. ET (check local listings).

   ** CLOSED SET FRIDAY AND SUNDAY, MAY 22 & 24: NO MEDIA ACCESS **    WHERE:  U.S. CAPITOL, WEST LAWN, IN FRONT OF THE STAGE.   

LIVE FEED: Pool members -- CNN, CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC -- are invited to use the live program feed available at Verizon's AVOC pool switch Source Port # 17 by calling the NBC (pool chair) assignment desk at (202) 885-4200. The Pool chair there is Tony Capra. The assignment desk will make the feed available to you on Saturday, May 23, 19:45 - 22:00 EDT (full dress rehearsal) and Sunday, May 24, 20:00 - 21:30 EDT (live broadcast). All media are welcome to receive the concert on PBS's Schedule X service which can be found on AMC 2, C-Band Transponder 16. This service is an unencrypted analog clear feed. The L band frequency is 1130 mghz., horizontal polarity. The audio subcarriers are L = 6.2 mghz and R = 6.8 mghz. Additionally, a mult feed will be available from the production truck on site. The maximum footage allowed for use is 3 minutes and the video credit which must be chyroned while footage is broadcast is National Memorial Day Concert/PBS.
