It's Ready, Set, Commercials for Rainforest Films as the Film Production Company Expands Its Brand Producing Commercial Spots for Top Advertisers

NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Atlanta based production company Rainforest Films has successfully captured the attention of Hollywood and proven that they have what it takes to make marketable films that sell tickets at the box office. Rainforest Films' co-founders Rob Hardy and Will Packer have quickly joined the ranks of Hollywood's "A-List" and are now breaking new ground on Madison Avenue by producing and directing commercial spots for top advertisers.

As Rainforest Films continues to perform well at the box office with their film projects, they are poised for success with advertisers by creating innovative commercials. The company has produced projects for corporate clients including: CNN, Turner Broadcasting, American Honda, Coca-Cola, The National Cancer Institute and Burrell Communications. Rainforest films' Co-Founder Writer/Director/Producer Rob Hardy, currently has several commercial spots in national rotation. Hardy and Packer have high expectations for their newest endeavor, which they hope will complement their movie success. Most recently, Rainforest Films produced the box office smash "Obsessed," (April, 2009) which stars Beyonce Knowles, Ali Larter and Idris Elba. "Obsessed" opened #1 at the box office its first weekend and ranked as Sony Screen Gems' #2 opening of all time. This latest release adds to a string of theatrical hits for Rainforest Films over the past three years, which include: "Stomp The Yard" (Sony/Screen Gems), which grossed over $65 million dollars and held the #1 position at the box office for two weekends (January of 2007), and "This Christmas" (Sony/Screen Gems) which made over $50 million dollars at the box office (November 2007). The success of both projects in the same year landed the duo amongst the Top 25 Entertainers and Moneymakers according to Black Enterprise Magazine (January 2008).

Industry insiders have had an eye on this dynamic duo. In 2007, Will Packer was named one of the Top 10 Producers to Watch, by Variety Magazine. In 2005, Rob Hardy was nominated for the HBO Director to Watch Award.
