American Singer Signs With Platinum PR of South Africa

LOS ANGELES, May 8/PRNewswire/ --

Las Vegas singer Brian Evans, who opens for the likes of Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Social Distortion among others, has signed for public relations in South Africa with South Africa based PR firm Platinum PR (http://platinumpr.co.za).

Evans, who was named by Grammy Magazine among Norah Jones as one of the most relevant new crooners of this generation, is heard on such shows as "So You Think You Can Dance", "Big Shots", and the new movie "The Wedding Weekend".

PEPR Public Relations has been retained by crooner Evans to begin introducing his Sinatra style to South Africa.

"I look forward to performing concerts here. I've always enjoyed performing corporate and special events but this is my real effort to direct my music to the general public," says Evans.

Evans is in talks with a casino in the country as well, and intends on visiting South Africa in June.

His new CD will feature a duet with Kelly Osbourne.
