DIRECTV'S The 101 Network Brings a Double Dose of New Comedy With Sneak Previews of Starz Originals 'Head Case' and New Series 'Party Down' March 13-14; Free Preview of Starz Super Pack March 19-22

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. and ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- DIRECTV's The 101 Network will offer sneak previews of two original Starz comedies, "Head Case" and the new series, "Party Down," on March 13th and 14th, commercial-free and in HD. The 101 Network advance look precedes the March 20th primetime premiere of the shows at 10 PM ET/PT and 10:30 PM ET/PT on the flagship Starz network.

The new episode of "Head Case" airs on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 PM ET and the sneak preview of the premiere episode of "Party Down" airs at 10:30 PM ET. Both shows will be paired with a special behind-the-scenes look at the making of these two comedies.

On March 14th, a special Starz comedy night on The 101 Network begins with a movie doubleheader featuring The Game Plan (Dwayne Johnson, Kyra Sedgwick) at 5:00 PM ET and Are We Done Yet? (Ice Cube, Nia Long) at 7:20 PM ET, followed by "Head Case" and "Party Down" at 9:00 PM ET and 9:30 PM ET respectively.

Later in the month, DIRECTV customers will be treated to a Starz Super Pack Preview where they can enjoy the full suite of all 12 Starz and Encore movie channels (including both the East and West Coast feeds of the flagship Starz and Encore brands) free of charge from March 19-22. During that time frame, customers will be on board for the premium TV debut of Made of Honor, starring Patrick Dempsey and other great Starz movies, such as Spider-Man(TM)3, Enchanted, and National Treasure: Book of Secrets.

Ten new episodes of the acclaimed unscripted comedy series "Head Case," starring Alexandra Wentworth, return with an all-star lineup of celebrity guests, including Jerry Seinfeld, Playboy(TM) kingpin Hugh Hefner with "girlfriend" Bridget Marquardt, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, SNL(TM) alum Kevin Nealon, "Survivor" host Jeff Probst, TV reality stars Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott, superstar songstress Macy Gray, "CSI New York's" Melina Kanakaredes, WWE(R) star Dave Batista(TM) and many more.
