"The Greater Cleveland Flute Society is honored that Marisela Sager is participating in this year's event," said Becky Chen, president, GCFS. Marisela Sager has played with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida. She is an active soloist and chamber musician, including performances with flutist Paula Robison, violinist Cho-Liang Lin, and Academy Award winning composer, Tan Dun. Ms. Sager will be performing works by Franz Schubert, Philippe Gaubert and Paul Hindemith.

The masterclass participants were selected by blind audition. The participants are Susan Noel Negowski, a sixth grade student at Copley-Fairlawn Middle School; Elise Campbell, an eighth grade student at Saint Paschal Baylon School; Katey Kubera, a sophomore at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School, and Robin Meiksins, a junior at Shaker Heights High School.

The concert will be held on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 1:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Music School Settlement, 11125 Magnolia Drive, Cleveland, Ohio. The event is free for flute society members. General admission tickets are available for $10.

Established in 1997, the Greater Cleveland Flute Society is dedicated to furthering the interest of flutes through performance and education for the enrichment of the community and individual members.
