Maximus Rocks the Doors off Rocketown at Cancer Benefit Concert Featuring the Pink Spiders, The Running and SupreX

The new program, Maximus Overdrive, is part of the new music on-demand content initiative started by Maximus to bring greater entertainment options to the hotels serviced by Maximus.

The fully hosted show was piloted at Rocketown, the popular mid-sized venue in downtown Nashville and it appeared that no one left unhappy as the Maximus name was strongly engrained into the night. The pilot turned into a benefit for the purpose of bringing help to the Freeman family, a local family dealing with cancer with no formal form of assistance from any government or non-profit agency. It was relevant that even the bands performed at their peaks in the opinion of many in attendance. "The place was rocking and it was an amazingly entertaining show. Someone said it was the first one, but it appeared to be near flawless as far as I could tell, very well done and with great vision towards engaging the crowd," said Rochelle Williams, a supporter of the Freeman family and concert attendee.

"When we heard the family had agreed to allow Maximus to use the event to provide a way and means to raise money for them, the staff and I couldn't have felt better. Coach Freeman and his family are good people and we were honored by their willingness to accept our help. Sekret Media Services of Nashville produced the show and Precious Cargo Limousine Services provided the Freemans with a luxurious SUV limousine transportation to and from the four-hour show. The show was highlighted with special guests throughout the night and a check for $5,000.00 was given to the family on January 20, 2009 from the proceeds of the show and its sponsors.
