WHO: Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White Tow Mater, one of the stars of Disney/Pixar's blockbuster movie Cars and the newest Disney On Ice skating spectacular More than 300 drivers education students WHAT: In celebration of the first anniversary of the passage of Illinois' landmark Teen Driver Safety Legislation, Sec. White will present Chicago's Taft High School with his inaugural Teen Driver Safety Award. As Sec. White shares newly-released statistics from the Illinois Department of Transportation showing the year-one impact of the state's graduated driver licensing program and other teen driver safety initiatives, the world's most lovable tow truck, Mater (a talking, life-size marvel of state-of-the-art animatronics) will be on hand to remind the students to tow the line on driver safety.
