Written, produced, directed by as well as starring Perry, The Family That Preys is a deeply touching family drama featuring a star-studded ensemble cast including Sanaa Lathan, Rockmond Dunbar, KaDee Strickland, Cole Hauser, Taraji P. Henson and Robin Givens. The film grossed almost $40 million domestically during its theatrical run. Lionsgate will release Perry's next theatrical feature, Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail, based on his most popular play, nationwide on February 20, 2009.
