Program to Engage More Than 43 Million Young Adults in Thousands of Retail Locations, Online and Through Mobile
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Endemol USA, the world's largest independent production company and market leader in interactive entertainment, with global hit franchises such as Deal or No Deal, Big Brother and 1 vs. 100, and Access 360 Media (www.access360media.com), the premier in-store, online and mobile media network that reaches more than 140 million young adults a month in 14,000 locations nationwide, today announced a programming partnership to produce Waiting for a Ride, a new series that follows five friends as they road trip in search of the West Coast's best waves. A 12-14 part series of comedic shorts, Waiting for a Ride will highlight the camaraderie, the laughs and the competition that develops both in and outside the water, showing that waiting for a ride can be just as much fun as the ride itself.
Slated to launch in April 2009 exclusively on Access 360's Media network, Waiting for a Ride will run several times a day alongside other content including music videos and action sports clips on more than 12,000 screens in young adult retail stores nationwide. Two new episodes will screen each month, and will also be available online along with exclusive, behind-the-scenes content where the user can influence future scripts, chat with the cast and participate in blogs. A mobile campaign will be featured in-store and online, encouraging participation for a chance to get a surfing lesson of a lifetime from the cast.
The partnership combines Endemol USA's industry-leading production and Access 360 Media's vast distribution channels that target the young adult demographic in thousands of retail locations nationwide. Both Endemol USA and Access 360 Media further extend their commitment to provide fans with original, cutting-edge short-form video content that enhances the in-store environment and encourages appointment viewing.

Waiting for a Ride is in pre-production with film crews hitting beach cities such as San Diego, Santa Barbara and Manhattan Beach in the coming months. Sponsorships will be announced soon and are currently being developed with leading brands interested in leveraging short form video entertainment to build awareness and engagement among the target audience of young adults, a demographic well-represented on the Access 360 Media network. Sponsorship packages may include product placement/integration, supporting in-store media and online components.
