Cox Wins Top Award in Annual Virginia Telecommunications Program
CHESAPEAKE, Va., Nov. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 2008 annual meeting of the Virginia Communications and Telecommunications Association, Cox Communications of Hampton Roads won the top award as Cable System of the Year.
This prestigious award recognizes the top performing cable systems within Virginia. This marks the first time that the Cox Hampton Roads system has won this prestigious award.
The award was presented to Gary McCollum, SVP/GM Cox Hampton Roads, in recognition of the system's nationally outstanding customer service, technical excellence, and community relations.
In accepting the award, Mr. McCollum thanked the employees of the Cox Hampton Roads system for their excellent performance and for living up to the values of the company.
