New Orleans-Based Southern Theatres L.L.C. Boasts 18 Locations, 268 Screens
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- MovieTickets.com (www.movietickets.com), the world's most powerful Internet movie-ticketing service, expanded its exhibitor program by signing an exclusive online ticketing agreement with New Orleans-based Southern Theatres L.L.C., which became the 25th new exhibitor to join MovieTickets.com in 2008. MovieTickets.com currently boasts 135 participating theater chains.

Under the agreement, MovieTickets.com will offer online ticketing for all of Southern Theatre's 18 locations and 268 screens. Southern Theatres operates The Grand Theatres and Amstar Cinemas, state-of-the-art multiplex stadium-seating movie theaters with locations across 15 DMAs including Houston, Orlando, Charlotte, N.C., and Greenville, S.C.
