Film Director Gus Van Sant to Be Honored at L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's 37th Anniversary Gala, Hosted by Joely Fisher With Tipper Gore

WHAT: Just two weeks before November's historic election, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center will celebrate its 37th anniversary and honor director Gus Van Sant -- whose upcoming biopic Milk will bring the story of pioneering gay politician Harvey Milk to the silver screen -- at its 37th Anniversary Gala and Auction. Tipper Gore will present the Center's Corporate Vision Award to home-furnishing company Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.
