EMA's Home Media Expo is the premier gathering of the home entertainment industry. The Expo annually brings together executives from the leading home video divisions of the motion picture studios, major DVD retailers, online movie services, and others involved in the delivery of motion pictures to the home via DVD, high-definition discs, and digital delivery.
EMA's Home Entertainment Awards recognizes the best in DVD releases and honors some of the industry's brightest stars. This year's awards show, hosted by Jamie Kennedy, features a salute to classic television. EMA's special Humanitarian Award will be given to actor/environmentalist Ed Begley, Jr., and writer, actor, filmmaker, economist, and lawyer Ben Stein will receive the "Freedom of Expression Award."
