Fylmar Productions CEO Jordan Yale Levine is Young But Strong in Film Industry

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Up-and-comer Jordan Yale Levine, 23, CEO of Fylmar Productions has only been in the film industry a short while, but has already managed to make a name for himself in Hollywood. It is rare to have so much savvy and success so early in a career. This young producer is responsible for financing and/or distribution of six feature films, including "Tooth and Nail" starring Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones. The film had a limited theatrical run in November of '07 and was one of the Eight Films to Die For at the After Dark Horror Fest. Jordan received an Executive Producer credit on this film, along with previous Executive Producer credits on "Paid," starring Corbin Bernsen and Tom Conti, "Mo," starring Erik Per Sullivan, "Life Goes On," "Acts of Death," and "Murder at Hollow's Pointe."

Levine is also a successful manager, representing multi-platinum hip-hop artist Obie Trice, Vince Orlando, and "superstar of the wrestling ring" Ernest "The Cat" Miller, who Jordan recently booked for Darren Aronofsky's upcoming release, "The Wrestler" starring Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei, and Evan Rachel Wood. Jordan is on the path of simulating the successful career Obie Trice has in the music industry, and Ernest in the wrestling business, with their acting careers.

This July, Levine looks forward to producing "Pinned," written by and starring Clayne Crawford (Wristcutters/Steel City) alongside Richard T. Jones (Vantage Point/Why Did I Get Married) and Mark Boone Junior (30 Days of Night/Memento). The film centers around estranged brothers who struggle for redemption and survival, when they end up trapped in a rural car wreck. What happens to their relationship becomes a journey that neither one of them could ever have hoped for or imagined. Jordan fell in love with the script after the first read, and has hopes of making an indie classic, ultimately to premiere at Sundance Film Festival in 2009.
