TEAC America to Exhibit Its Complete Disc Publishing Line at the NAB 2008 Show in Las Vegas, April 14-17th

MONTEBELLO, Calif., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- TEAC America, Inc. will exhibit its complete line of disc publishing products at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters' Show (NAB) at Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, April 14 - April 17th , 2008.

TEAC will show its revolutionary P-55 thermal disc printer, the only dye-sublimation disc printer in the world that features the highest resolution print image quality. The P-55 printer is the only CMYK thermal printer with True Black. The exclusive VersaMax ribbon for P-55 printer provides the widest media compatibility as users now have the freedom to use their media of choice instead of media kits and or special thermal media. This, in turn, saves the users money and provides the lowest cost per printed disc.

TEAC P-55 printer holds the disc from the center hub for more accurate pick up on CD or DVD discs. Having been in the optical media business for more than 30 years, TEAC has perfected the disc positioning mechanism and has implemented this technology in the P-55 dye-sublimation disc printer. The printer also is capable of printing on the 8cm media, business card media and also USB flash drives. TEAC P-55 printer is currently the only printer that prints on the USB flash drives, an application that is growing everyday due to increased use of the USB flash drives for marketing, promotional purposes and many other applications.

TEAC's Discathlon 2 is a Dual Printer Autoloader System that supports one or two P-55 dye-sublimation disc printers. Customers could start with either one printer and add the second later or could start with two printers for faster output. Discathlon 2 has 300 CD/DVD disc capacity and can run two jobs simultaneously. It features an enclosed dust-resistant design and connects via USB 2.0 port. Discathlon 2 incorporates TEAC engineered robotics technology that ensures accurate picking, essentially eliminating any errors due to picking problems. Discathlon 2 can run up to 72 discs per hour.

TEAC's Explorer 1 system is a completely automated on-demand network Disc Publishing System. It features integrated high-performance P-55 dye-sublimation thermal disc printer and includes two or three DVD or Blu-Ray recorders with 300 disc input capacity. Explorer 1 also features the powerful Point full feature publishing software.

TEAC AP-220 Disc Automated Disc Printing Autoloader Solution could be used with either the TEAC P-55 Dye-sublimation disc printer or the TEAC Inkjet printer. It features 220 disc capacity and a low-profile desktop design and is TEAC's most economical full color auto-printer solution.

TEAC's AP-220N is a Print & Burn Publishing System and features a 220 disc capacity, 2 DVD recorders and could be used with either the TEAC P-55 dye-sublimation disc printer or the TEAC Inkjet printer. It includes full feature publishing software and is a low-profile desktop design.

TEAC will also display its complete line of CD/DVD Duplicators from 1x1 CD to 1x10 DVD Duplicators at the show. TEAC will also launch its USB Flash Drive and SD Card Duplication systems at the NAB Show.

TEAC will display its complete line of disc publishing products at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters' Show (NAB), at Las Vegas Convention Center, April 14-17th. Teac Booth number is SL 9623.
