NEW YORK, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen Colbert has announced that the Peabody(R) Award-winning and Emmy(R)-nominated "The Colbert Report" with its 80 staffers will be heading to Philadelphia to cover the all-important Pennsylvania Democratic Primary. This marks the first time the show will broadcast from a remote location. In the proud tradition of his Presidential Campaign, Colbert has once again courageously partnered with the first name in electoral snacking: Doritos.

"The Colbert Report: Dorito's Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage From Chili-Delphia - The City of Brotherly Crunch!" is taping at the 900-seat Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Zellerbach Theatre on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania and will air nightly at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT from Monday, April 14 through Thursday, April 17.

The week will include filmed pieces such as a tour of Philadelphia and an installment of the 434-part series "Better Know A District" with Congressman Joe Sestak, representing "The Fightin' 7th" district of Pennsylvania. Guests to appear include John Legend singing the "Star Spangled Banner" (4/14); Mayor Michael Nutter of Philadelphia (4/14); Chris Matthews (4/14); The Roots (4/15); Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders (4/16); Governor Ed Rendell (4/16); and Representative Patrick Murphy (D-PA), the only sitting Congressman to have served in Iraq (4/17).

"The Colbert Report" has once again partnered with the charity DonorsChoose.org which allows donors to directly fund programs in public schools in all 50 states. This time, the show is proud to assist public schools in Pennsylvania. Currently, donations total $166,649. During Colbert's bid to get on the South Carolina Presidential Primary ballot, the host asked his viewers in lieu of campaign contributions to donate to DonorsChoose.org in his name. The previous on-air push raised $66,000 and helped 17,000 public school students in South Carolina. DonorsChoose.org is dedicated to addressing the scarcity and inequitable distribution of learning materials and experiences in the country's public schools.

"The Colbert Report" airs regularly Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. following "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Repeat episodes air Monday- Thursday at 1:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and Friday at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (all times ET/PT).
