LOS ANGELES, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Scott Pierce has joined Pacific Paintball LLC as its Chief Executive Officer. Scott will be a critical part of the executive team building and integrating Pacific Paintball's leading paintball businesses focused on media (tournaments, trade shows, television show, membership and significant web presence) and paintball parks.

Mr. Pierce has an extensive background managing and integrating events, digital media and print media, with a successful 25+ year career including serving as an Executive Vice President for Advanstar Communications. At Advanstar he led a $100+ million revenue group of businesses including its Travel & Hospitality Group, Licensing Group, Art Group and Pharmaceutical & Science Group (in total, 30+ publications, 25+ associated events and their related websites). Mr. Pierce was most recently with the Nielsen Company were he served as Senior Vice President of The Nielsen Travel Network, which included three publications, nine associated events and their related websites. Prior to joining Nielsen, Mr. Pierce was chief operating officer of the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodging Association. This membership focused organization delivers education, training and professional certification serving the needs of hospitality schools and travel professionals worldwide.

Pacific Paintball is also pleased to announce the second season of Xtreme Paintball: Beyond the Paint, the popular show airing again on Fox Sports Net ("FSN") and profiling the biggest personalities from the most popular extreme sport in America. The second season will start a 13-week run beginning on Tuesday, July 1 at 4:30 pm local. FSN will also air eight re-runs of the first season beginning Friday, May 9 at 3:30 pm local.

The innovative show, which takes paintball fans behind the goggles and into the personal lives of men and women who play paintball at the highest level, was watched by over 1 million people in 2007. Xtreme Paintball: Beyond the Paint also appeals to the most passionate paintball fans, as it features action from a National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) tournament, with a unique approach to highlighting the key moves and strategies of each game.
