Free Times Nominee Redwater RoJo 'Sees Read' at Cleveland Agora

CLEVELAND, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Grab your earplugs and your calendar because May 9th marks the date of the spectacular Agora (http://www.clevelandagora.com/) show in downtown Cleveland featuring Redwater RoJo and the other Free Times Nominees for Best Rock Band in Cleveland. Pre-sale tickets are only $6.00 and include parking. Doors open for this event at 8:00 pm. The event will be hosted by none other than Jim Benson and Pat the Producer of 92.3 FM's Inner Sanctum, on which Redwater RoJo is regularly featured.

Redwater RoJo (http://www.redwaterrojo.com/) was formed in 2005 and their dedicated fans have followed them from the rust belt of Cleveland to the home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville, and back again. Their formidable sound is rooted in the gritty vocals of Jason Meyers and the rocking guitar sounds of Joe Romito, with Matt Vertock on drums and Joe Wheelock on bass.

Bassist, Wheelock can barely contain his enthusiasm about the upcoming Agora performance. "This show is like taking five sweet cars for a test drive. Each one is exciting, different, and cool in its own way," said Wheelock. "The people coming to this show will get to test drive all the bands in one night for one price!"

Live shows like this have always been a vehicle for the band's varied repertoire, which consists of ballads like "What If" and alt-country songs like "Lit and Hollerin." Their fans love every minute of it and the boys are happy to be carrying on the tradition of great bands they admire like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Black Crowes.

Due to overwhelming demand, the band released their self-titled debut in May of 2007. The album is a compilation of original music that reflects the band's past, present and even gives a glimpse of things to come. They anticipate releasing their sophomore effort in the late summer or early fall of this year. Fans looking for a sneak peek will hear select tracks from the tentatively titled "Seeing Read" album at the show.
