Comcast Cable Eastern Division Offers Papal Masses On Demand

Historic Washington, D.C. and New York City Masses Available for Viewing at Customer Convenience

OAKS, Pa., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Cable and EWTN Global Catholic Network today announced they have partnered to provide Comcast Eastern Division customers the opportunity to view coverage of the masses celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI in Washington, D.C. and New York City through Comcast's Local Video On Demand service. The masses will be available free of charge to Comcast Digital Cable customers, allowing them to view each mass in its entirety at their convenience, day or night, with the ability to pause, fast forward and rewind. Comcast Cable's Eastern Division includes New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.

The two events include the Papal Mass taking place at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, April 17 and the Papal Mass taking place at Yankee Stadium in New York City on Sunday, April 20, concluding the Pope's historic visit to the United States. Each Mass will be available for ON DEMAND viewing beginning the same day as the live telecast on EWTN, and through Sunday, April 27.

Comcast Digital Cable customers can view the Masses at no additional charge by tuning to Channel 1 on their digital cable lineup or pressing the ON DEMAND button on their remote control, then clicking on "Get Local" and selecting the "Papal Mass" folder. To view live coverage of every event during the Pope's U.S. trip, customers can tune to EWTN Global Catholic Network.
