1. BEHAVIOR: EVERYONE POSSESSES THE ABILITY TO SEE THE FUTURE. KIM STEMPIEN, entrepreneur, psychic, and writer for over 20 years, is the editor, creator, and owner of Precognito Magazine, which is devoted to psychic and spiritual concepts. Stempien presents a unique argument that everyone possesses "precognito," the ability to see the future and make better choices: "If you look back into history, some of the most influential people have been those who've actively used their psychic ability to see the future outcomes of their (or others') actions. The Bible is filled with prophets and their prophecies, Einstein was inspired by his (prophetic) dreams, and, of course, the most famous prophet still cited today is Nostradamus. It's all just a matter of learning how to 'frame' your questions and then properly interpret them without second-guessing yourself." Known for her highly detailed and accurate predictions, Stempien has been a featured psychic on VH-1's celebrity special, "Rockstrology," and on Lifetime TV's "America's Psychic Challenge." 2. CONSUMER ISSUES: SEEING RED OVER GREEN. JAMES SHEPPARD, CEO of VETRAZZO LLC, a certified green business, is an expert on eco-friendly business practices: "I noticed this morning that one of the 900-lb. gorillas in the countertop industry now has 'We're Green!' and the 'U.S. Green Building Council' all over their messaging. This is a company whose product consists of 25 percent petroleum-based resin and the remainder is quartz, quarried in the third world under zero environmental control and then shipped around the world at major energy and carbon footprint cost. Consider we use 2 million barrels of oil a day in America making plastics, such as those used in this product. It makes it very challenging to consumers who are well-intentioned but short of time to do the proper research." (3/7/08)

3. ENTERTAINMENT: SUPREME COURT MAY TAKE DIM VIEW OF FCC INDECENCY POLICY. JEFF TILLOTSON of the Dallas law firm of LYNN, TILLOTSON & PINKER: "An FCC policy aimed at limiting so-called 'fleeting expletives' may face a tough fight before the U.S. Supreme Court. The FCC has asked the court to jump into the debate, brought about by infamous 'F-word' comments entertainers Bono and Cher uttered during live broadcasts of awards programs. Federal regulators want to crack down on broadcasters, but several networks have sued to block the policy. The problem is the 'F-word' may be OK in something such as an Oscar-winning movie, but not OK in a live television show. If I had to guess, I would say the Supreme Court tells the FCC its proposed policy on this is too vague." News Contact: Mark Annick, mark@androvett.com Phone: +1-800-559-4534 (3/7/08)

4. LIVING: 'REAL' ISSUES FACED BY TEENS TODAY. DR. JERRY WEICHMAN, a practicing clinical psychologist, provides parents and teens with an honest, direct and fresh approach to the "real" issues faced by teens today: "As teens begin to define who they are, they commonly face frustration inherent to being caught in the time warp between childhood and adulthood. In an attempt to demonstrate control over their own lives, adolescents will do poorly in school, develop eating disorders, and rebel against parents, teachers and other adults involved in their lives. My philosophy is that teens need to be armed with a 'tool belt' of coping mechanisms, life interventions, and solutions for the challenges they face now and will face in their future. With these tools, teens can take control of their lives, elevate their moods, reduce depression and anxiety, foster intrinsic motivation, increase academic performance and learn to become more self-reliant." Weichman can talk about a variety of issues, including teen sex, substance abuse, eating disorders, violence, bullying and cyberspace dangers. He has been a guest speaker for teen advocacy groups, including the California Youth Authority, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, the Family Violence Project, the California League of Middle Schools and the Leadership Institute for Teens. 5. RELATIONSHIPS: SAYING 'I LOVE YOU.' SHOSHANNA RIKON is the founder of SHOSHANNA'S MATCHES, a Jewish dating and matchmaking service for Jewish singles in New York City and the tri-state area, and a native New Yorker with a degree in advertising and business. In a Lifetime News article, Rikon offered advice on the words "I love you": "Many men have trouble expressing their feelings verbally. You really need to examine a man's actions to get an idea of what he's feeling. For example, does he buy you flowers or treat you to romantic dinners? Does he like spending quiet alone time with you, and is he complimentary? Has he introduced you to his family? These may all be indicators that he really loves you. However, hearing 'I love you' is important, and if you've told him how much these words mean to you, he should make an effort to verbalize his emotions -- at least once in a while. If he won't, it could be a red flag that he's having trouble taking your relationship to the next level." Rikon is extremely visual, creative and aware of how difficult it can be to find the right mate in New York City. Her matchmaking wisdom has been featured in such publications and programs as The New York Times, New York Daily News, New York Post, Village Voice, Fox, CNN and ABC, to name just a few. 6. SPORTS: FANTASY BASEBALL PLAYER RANKINGS. SCOTT SWANAY, a statistical and analytical expert, Harvard graduate and an actuary for over 17 years: "Don't let your fantasy baseball player rankings be influenced by 'experts.' Know your league's scoring categories and use player projections and rankings that are customized to your league's characteristics." Swanay possesses both the knowledge and the experience to accurately predict outcomes based on relevant statistics. It is for these reasons that he is a profoundly unique figure in the world of fantasy baseball. Swanay is also an award-winning fantasy baseball player and an all-around expert in a number of other sports. News Contact: DeAnne Merey, dea2mar@aol.com, Phone: +1-646-785-9594 (3/7/08)

7. SPORTS: MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL HEADS TO CHINA. JEFF SWIRYN, sports writer living in China who will be reporting for the online sports network Bleacher Report: "No matter how you look at it, baseball in mainland China is still in its infancy. But with Major League Baseball heading to Beijing for its first- ever games, it's beginning to look like baseball has a future in China. Only time will tell if the 'Yao syndrome' takes root in the world of baseball. First, we'll see how Beijing responds to a National League West rivalry when the Los Angeles Dodgers face the San Diego Padres in a two-game exhibition series this month. I'll be at Wukesong Stadium to see for myself." News Contact: Kathy Wilson, kwilson@tieronepr.com Phone: +1-781-652-0499, or Ann Marie Ricard, aricard@tieronepr.com Phone: +1-206-792-3277 (3/7/08)
