COMEDY CENTRAL's Sunday Night Stand-Up specials kick off January 6 at 9:00 p.m. with "Chris Rock: Never Scared." In his hilarious Network Television Premiere special, Rock talks about his latest project: keeping his daughter off the dancer pole and out of clear plastic heels! Rock also explains why he thinks marijuana and cocaine are illegal in the U.S., his secret to marriage and relationships and who knows? He may even get to the bottom of who shot Tupac. Be sure to tune-in for this all-new special from one of today's most influential comedians.
On Sunday, January 13 at 10:00 p.m., catch the World Television Premiere of "Katt Williams: American Hustle: The Movie." It might be hard out there for a pimp, but this guy makes it look easy! Joined by stand-ups Luenell, Red Grant and Melanie Comarcho, Williams takes his unique brand of stand-up comedy on the road as only a true hustler can. Once he reaches Chicago, Williams gives viewers the low-down on sex, drugs, celebrities and the N-word. Even Snoop Dogg, Jeremy Piven and Ludicrous make appearances on this wild n' crazy ride.
Lewis Black rocks the mic in his laugh-out-loud special, "Red, White & Screwed," Sunday, January 20 at 9:00 p.m. Black voices how he has narrowly escaped a heart attack over everything that is happening in America since the war in Iraq began. For this "Daily Show" veteran, nothing stands in his way of blurring the line between anger and pure comedy.
The competition has been brewing for a month. Viewers have voted online and on their mobile phones for their favorite stand-up comedians and now the best of the best take to the stage in COMEDY CENTRAL's "Stand-Up Showdown Finals."
