KTRB-AM 860 and Green Building Exchange Present 'Green Seed Radio'

Environmental News Hour finds new home, new team, for popular Saturday show hosted by Mo Mellady

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- KTRB-AM 860, one of the West Coast's oldest radio stations, and Green Building Exchange (GBE), the first year-round trade show dedicated to environmentally conscious builders, developers and consumers, have teamed up to present Green Seed Radio, the new, cutting-edge environmental talk radio program. The show will air every Saturday, 10am to Noon beginning November 3, 2007. Hosted by long-time broadcast veteran Mo Mellady, Green Seed Radio offers listeners the latest news, information and resources on the green movement.

Green Seed Radio will entertain, incite and inform discussion on the latest in green innovation and current environmental news topics surrounding green living. Through interviews with leading authorities, celebrities and government policy makers, listeners will be invited into the world of green living. Green Seed Radio will also showcase products that minimize impact on the environment, provide glimpses into the green tech arena, discuss sustainable building practices and innovative green architecture, and provide a forum for designers with a vision for the future, as well as builders who are creating environmentally friendly structures.

Mo Mellady, the new host of Green Seed Radio, is a longtime radio veteran, producer and voice-over artist. After seeing Julia Butterfly Hill speak in 2001, she founded PlanetCheck Media. PlanetCheck was the first independent content provider for Air America Radio Network from 2004 to 2005. Mo is also known for her earlier accomplishments as on-air talent for Live 105, Alice 97.3, KTCL and 91X. A professional voiceover actress, her credits include voice work for Disney, Sony, Cox Communications and Cingular to name a few. For the last 3 years, Mo has been known as the voice of the pink-coiffed, animated heroine, "Erin Esurance," star of the Esurance auto insurance TV commercials.
