As the official satellite radio network of the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10, and SEC, XM will air college basketball games on a suite of 17 sports play-by-play channels. A weekly schedule of college basketball games on XM is available online at www.xmradio.com/collegesports.

XM is the satellite radio home for 16 of the top 25 teams in the pre-season ESPN/USA Today college basketball poll, including top-ranked North Carolina. In March, XM will be the exclusive satellite radio network for the conference basketball tournaments for each of the six power conferences.

"You can hear college basketball games from all over the country on XM Radio," said Kevin Straley, XM senior vice president of news, talk, and sports programming. "Team radio announcers are heard nationwide on XM. You can follow your team wherever you are."

As the nation's leading satellite radio company with more than 8.5 million subscribers, XM airs college basketball, football, and other sports from the six power conferences for listeners from coast to coast.

"College sports are a big part of XM's appeal," Straley said. "The games are especially important to displaced fans, who live far away from their favorite teams, but can hear them on XM."

In addition to the games, XM is home to "Basketball and Beyond with Coach K," the weekly radio show hosted by Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski. The show airs Wednesdays at 9:00 am ET exclusively on the sports talk radio channel XM Sports Nation (XM Channel 144), with encore presentations at various times through the week. Coach K and sportscaster Dave Sims talk college basketball and discuss the coach's personal perspective on principles for life on and off the court.

XM is the sports leader in satellite radio with more than 5,000 live sporting events in 2007. Besides the six power conferences in college sports, XM is the official satellite radio network for Major League Baseball, the National Hockey League, the PGA TOUR, and the Indy Racing League. NBA games on ESPN Radio are carried on XM. XM also offers the most sports talk on the radio with the 24-hour channels XM Sports Nation, MLB Home Plate, NHL Home Ice, ESPN Radio, ESPNews, and Fox Sports Radio. Plus, XM has Spanish-language sports coverage on XM Deportivo and MLB En Espanol.
