AT&T and Dave Matthews Band Announce Exclusive Ringtones on AT&T Wireless Phones

AT&T is First Wireless Carrier With Dave Matthews Band Ringtones in Mobile Music Catalog

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced an agreement with Dave Matthews Band that gives wireless customers first-ever access to selected ringtones. This initial offer is to be followed by a broader range of the popular rock band's ringtones. This is the first time that Dave Matthews Band ringtones have been available through any wireless carrier.

Beginning Nov. 14, AT&T will deliver ringtones from popular songs, starting with the live version of "Ants Marching." The early release of "Ants Marching," is in conjunction with the AT&T World's Loudest Pep Rally concerts -- featuring Dave Matthews Band -- Nov. 14 and 15 at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. For six weeks, fans from 120 participating NCAA universities sent creative invitations to Dave Matthews Band through AT&T wireless text messages and the AT&T blue room Web site.

Other Dave Matthews Band ringtones that will be available from AT&T beginning Dec. 1 include:

   * "Don't Drink the Water"   * "Everyday" (Live)   * "Say Goodbye"   * "Two Step"   * "Warehouse" (Live)   * "When The World Ends" (Live)    

"Until now, Dave Matthews Band was one of the most searched for terms not found in our robust collection for ringtones on wireless phones," said Mark Collins, vice president of Consumer Data for AT&T's wireless unit. "We are pleased to introduce the first ringtones from the world-renowned Dave Matthews Band to our customers. AT&T already has the largest mobile music catalog in the industry, and this addition helps to expand our offerings even further."

Customers also have the option to purchase the ringtones for $2.49 or sign up for AT&T's My MEdia Club. Through My MEdia Club, subscribers get credits that can be redeemed for ringtones, graphics and games in the MEdia Mall for one monthly charge. Customers can choose from three subscription options for up to 40 percent in savings on purchases. With the Starter Pack for $5.99 a month, subscribers can get either six ringtones, three ringtones and three graphics, three ringtones and one game or any other combination up to 30 credits. Other packages include the Super Saver for $9.99 a month and the Premium Player for $14.99 a month. Customers can sign up for a My MEdia Club subscription from their phone via text message or through the MEdia Mall.

These new ringtones from Dave Matthews Band complement AT&T's existing Mobile Music experience, which is the richest and most complete mobile music offering in the industry. AT&T Mobile Music enables customers to choose how they want to discover and listen to music -- whether via instant downloading or via sideloading from popular music subscription services such as Napster and eMusic. Other AT&T Mobile Music offerings include personalized radio with Pandora, satellite radio with XM Radio, a song-recognition service called MusicID and a vast ringtone library.
