Meet Award Winning Journalist Bob Edwards at the National Press Club

WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Award-winning journalist and XM Satellite Radio host Bob Edwards will make brief remarks at a National Press Club reception on Thurs., Oct. 11 at 6:30 pm. The National Press Club, preparing to celebrate its centennial in 2008, has launched a membership drive for the month of October. The club is waiving initiation fees for new applicants in October. That means a savings of up to $350.

Membership in the club is open to active journalists, former journalists, government information officers, and to those considered by journalists to be regular news sources.
