And as other networks begin to offer their content in HD, we look forward to expanding our already robust offerings to provide unparalleled entertainment for our customers."

With today's announcement, Comcast continues its industry-leading pace of HD expansion, offering the most HD viewing choices and setting the standard for true HD quality.

To bring customers the most HD viewing choices, Comcast delivers nearly 200 HD selections at any given time. In Vermont, Comcast offers 20 HD channels and services, including CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, CW, PBS, NESN HD, ESPN HD, ESPN2 HD, MOJO, TBS HD, CNN HD, TNT HD, HD Theater, NFL Network HD, Starz HD, HBO HD, Cinemax HD, Showtime HD and Comcast SportsNet's New England Celtics Games. Plus, Comcast provides more than 150 hours of HD ON DEMAND programming, allowing Digital Cable customers with an HDTV and HD-capable cable box to pause, rewind and fast-forward their favorite movies and shows in crystal clear HD whenever it's most convenient. Comcast expects to add several more HD networks in Vermont and boost the amount of HD ON DEMAND content by the end of the year.

Comcast also offers the best HD picture quality, according to an independent survey conducted this spring. According to the results, two out of three satellite customers expressed a preference for Comcast's HD signal, saying Comcast had the better HD picture quality in side-by-side comparisons.
