2007 Finalists head to New York to appear on 'Live with Regis and Kelly'

Congratulations to Sylvia Stern of Richboro, PA whose brightly-colored green retro sofa won the infamous title of Ugliest Couch in America. Chosen as a quarter-finalist from over 250 entries, Sylvia Stern's couch was then voted one of three semi-finalists by the public via Sure Fit's online voting during August 10th - 24th. Finally, on September 25th, "Live with Regis and Kelly's" studio audience chose the couch as the ugliest in America. Ms. Stern has owned her couch for more than 30 years, and it was her interior designer who had submitted her couch to the contest. All three semi-finalists should be proud that their couches made it this far, and for their participation in the "Ugly Couch Contest" they received a trip with accommodations to New York City. The runners-up, Christina Wood of Georgia and Adina Moses of Maryland, were very excited to be part of such an exciting contest and trip.
