CRN Announces Syndication Launch for Recovery Talk Network

Cutting-Edge Program Showcasing The Best Of The Recovery Field To Premiere On Langer Broadcasting Group Station WBIX 1060 AM-Boston

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CRN Digital Talk Radio (CRN) today announced plans to syndicate the Recovery Talk Network (RTN) to Langer Broadcasting Station WBIX 1060 AM in Boston, MA. Originating from the CRN studios in Sunland, CA, RTN will premiere tonight on WBIX 1060 AM at 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET. RTN will air live every Monday through Wednesday from 8-10 p.m. Pacific (11 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Eastern).

Among the most cutting-edge talk formats in radio today, RTN is the source that millions of Americans turn to for straight talk and heightened awareness of the recovery process from the disease of addiction. Highlighted by listeners who share their experiences in recovery and dealing with related issues, the show also features an impressive roster of the recovery field's experts and advocates. "There Is A Solution" hosted by Larry W. with Constantine airs on Monday and Tuesday nights. "Richard C. and the Old Timers" airs every Wednesday. More than "12 Step Radio," guests include members of numerous 12 Step Programs, but also individuals who have achieved and maintained recovery through other methods.

"We are proud to partner with Langer Broadcasting to bring the Recovery Talk Network, one of the most important public information programs produced from the CRN studios to the community of Boston," said Michael J. Horn, founder and CEO of CRN.

Since its inception in March, 2007 the Recovery Talk Network http://www.recoverytalknetwork.com/ has facilitated its mission to provide inspiring and entertaining programs with the goal of informing the public that recovery from the disease of addiction is not only possible, but is being experienced by millions of Americans of all ages and backgrounds -- whether the addiction is alcoholism, drug abuse, gambling, smoking, compulsive overeating (including obesity, anorexia, and bulimia) or one of many others. "I am delighted to introduce to Boston area listeners our valuable message," stated RTN's Founder, Larry W., himself a recovering alcoholic and compulsive overeater. "RTN believes -- and studies show -- that one of the most effective ways to encourage people to seek help for themselves or a family member is to challenge the stigma of addiction by providing positive, inspiring examples of people conquering their addictions. "

CRN distributes RTN nationally via most cable systems. Listeners outside of the Boston area should check their local listings or visit http://www.crntalk.com/ to view CRN Digital Talk Radio's complete programming schedule.
