For the North American release, the band tapped the talents of producer Greg Wells (Mika, Rufus Wainwright) to mix the entire album as well as record two new tracks exclusive to this release -- "Dance and Boogie," and "Baby, Just Be Yourself." With a clever nod to the spotless pop of Phil Spector and The Supremes, these Brighton-bred Pipettes have created a witty and smart 16-track album that fuses girl-pop reminiscent of the Shangri-La's with the fierce and focused musical prowess that is 100% their own.

We Are The Pipettes features The Pipettes' smash hits "Pull Shapes," "Your Kisses Are Wasted on Me," and "Dirty Mind," and is the follow up to their EP Your Kisses Are Wasted on Me (Cherrytree/Interscope) -- released June 5th 2007. The EP came on the heels of a string of highly successful shows with the likes of Sleater Kinney, Maximo Park, and early this year, Amy Winehouse, as well as numerous head-turning performances at SXSW where they warmed the hearts of music fans all over.
